Our Financial Supporters: Africa Donations |
| |
Private Donors with Hearts, not Heartstrings |
| |
|
| |
| The charitable impulse and especially Africa Donations is a well trodden path of good intentions. Our donors care about reducing poverty through education and believe in our vision as an educational service organization as opposed to distributors of resources or “building things”. Some donate to Africa a dollar day on their credit card which is charged monthly. Some donate thousands even tens of thousands of dollars. Some donate time to organize fundraising events. Some travel to the field, after being trained, to assist in seminars. We are equally grateful for all and open to discuss our approach all day, every day with anyone who cares to help us. Donations to Africa, of all forms, matter! |

"I've always been doubtful that Africa donations ever reaches the poor through charities but I've seen the results with my own two eyes and I will always support this worthy cause."

"It's time for the debate on the effectiveness of aid to get serious, and I like that WCR is privately funded unlike most European NGO’s. This is the model for the future for Africa donations” |

"I am an African and this is what Africa needs - help to help ourselves build up the children whom are our future…not just Africa donations." |

“Brazilians have become increasingly interested in Africa donations and our nations role in the development of Africa, but we are skeptical donors and there are few Brazil based NGO’s operating there…this is the one I am comfortable with and that supports my goals-self help with a focus on children.” |
