The heart of all operations are in the field. WCR's director of operations, Emmanuel Sam, is based in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. He collaborates with the education ministry, engages primary school principals, organizes teacher trainings and identifies talented teachers to become trainers of trainers. Emmanuel is an experienced manager and a professional teacher trainer. He directs the same work process of country facilitators in Senegal, Mane Faly, and Sierra Leone, Muniru Koroma.

Dr. Sue Wortham is our director of education, the designer of our curriculum and training modules and the primary provider of online support to volunteers in the field. Sue often to travels to Africa to oversee and improve training seminars. She is a leading expert in Early Childhood Development. Benjamin Lodmell, a cofounder, is the acting Executive Director. |
