It has been brought to our attention that the name “Dinner of Hope” is the intellectual property of another charitable organization. We have agreed to discontinue the use of this traditional title for our annual benefit dinner.
Grassroots Development Work In Haiti & West Africa
World Children’s Relief is a grassroots, charitable organization that was founded by two brothers with a vision to bring hope into the lives of children through education.
Schools are adopted into the WCR School Network and participate in the transformation of the classroom with teacher training at the foundation of our education programs.
We have opened new preschool classrooms throughout Haiti and West Africa thanks to the initiative of Dr. Sue Wortham, the Director of the World Children’s Relief’s education programs.
She is leading the effort to improve education for children through educating teachers in developing countries and providing young children with an opportunity for an early education.
We welcome you to see for yourself what your generous contributions can accomplish. This is a rare opportunity for you to travel to a developing country and visit the schools we have adopted and work in the field alongside our in-country staff and meet the children that benefit from our educational services and programs.
Often described as a “life changing experience” our volunteer trips are productive, informative and a huge success to the overall work we do.
